On the 24th of November, 2003, W:.B:. Glen Cron and his wife Rita embarked on a week long journey to the East...East of the Mississippi River that is, to the far-away city of Avenue, Maryland to visit Rita's sister who presented Masonic gifts to Glen. Those gifts included an old bell, very old photo's of masonic events and several 1st edition Masonic books. While there, Glen and Rita visited the sites in Washington D.C. Below are the pictures.

Glen was riding in the back seat of the car when he snapped this picture of the U.S. Botanic Garden building.


Glen said, "the picture does not do justice to this Christmas tree."


This cornerstone is of the 1953 re-enactment of the original cornerstone laying of the capitol building.
