Junior was Initiated an Entered Apprentice on October 10. 1989
Passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on 11/30/1989
Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on January 30, 1990.

Junior continued his Masonic involvement by becoming a 32º Scottish Rite Mason on October 26, 1990 at the Valley of Joplin and an Abou Ben Adhem Shriner on December 6, 1992. Junior served as Worshipful Master of Mansfield Lodge #543 in 1996. He was a charter member of the Missouri Ridgerunners Scottish Rite Club and was a cast member of the 30th Degree. Junior also served on the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years

Mt. Olive Lodge #439

Worshipful Brother James Earl Jones Jr. was born June 26th, 1952 and called to the Celestial Lodge November 27, 2002. W:.B:. Jones entered masonry in December, 1977 and served as Master of Mount Olive Lodge #439 for the year 1984. He was a Past Patron of Bethel Chapter #281, Order of the Eastern Star, Past High Priest of Springfield Chapter RAM, Past Illustrious Master of Zabud Council #25, Past Commander of St. John's Commandry #20, a member of St. Christopher Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine and Ray V. Densow York Rite College. James also portrayed the part of Ben Dekar in the 9th, 10th, & 22nd Degrees at the Valley of Joplin Scottish Rite.

The American Flag was presented to his widow, Kathy Jones, by W:.M:. Rusty Morrison, W:.B:. Glen Cron ~ P.M. 1999, W:.B:. Nick Breedlove ~ P.M. 2000, W:.B:. Jim Hammons ~ P.M. 2002 during the visitation service held at Fordland High School December 1st, 2002.

Mansfield Lodge #543

Brother Stigall Petitioned Mansfield Masonic Lodge #543 on April 14th, 1998.

He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on May 18th, 1998 and passed the proficiency in this degree on June 9th, 1998. Was passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on June 15th, 1998 and passed that proficiency on June 29, 1998. Was raised to the degree of Master Mason June 29th, 1998 and was proficient on July 14th, 1998.

Brother Stigall was a very dedicated Mason having served Mansfield Lodge #439 as Chaplain and up to his passing held the office of Junior Deacon. He helped with all fund raisers and was very productive in his service to the Lodge. He continued his Masonic involvement into the Scottish Rite where he served on a degree cast, and was President of the Ridgerunners Scottish Rite club for the year 2000. He was also an active member of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield serving as Reporter for the Past Masters Unit.
