Biography
M:.W:.B:. Jimmie D. Lee was born November 29, 1936 in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Springfield Public school, graduating in 1955.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 through 1958. He married Jeri Ferrell on January 4, 1957. They have one son, Jeff, and daughter-in-law, Melissa. Two grandsons, Jared and Jordan.
M:.W:.B:. Lee was raised a Master Mason in January, 1959 at Henderson Lodge #477, Rogersville, Mo. He served as Worshipful Master in 1962 and 1963. He is a member of the York Rite Bodies of Springfield; Valley of Joplin Scottish Rite being Coronated an Honorary 33rd Degree in 2001. Bethel Chapter No. 281, Order of the Eastern Star, Rogersville. He has been a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine since 1962 and a member of several of the Shrine Clubs and its Units. He was elected to the Board of Trustees 1974-1976, elected as Potentate in 1985, and is currently serving as Temple Recorder.
M:.W:.B:. Lee just completed a four-year term as a member of the Masonic Home Board, where he served as Chairman of the Administration Committee.
He has been involved in business for himself since 1958 as Owner/Operator of Silver Bell Mobile Home and RV Park. A Licensed Funeral Director, Jimmie is currently assisting Jeff in the building of the J.D. Lee and Son's Funeral Home in Rogersville.
M:.W:.B:. Lee is a member of the Fremont Hills Country Club, having served on the Board of Directors for the past three years.
Jimmie and his wife, Jeri, are members of the Immaculate Conception Church in Springfield. |
