WORSHIPFUL MASTER'S TRESSEL BOARD

Dear Brethren,
Another masonic year has passed and the new officers of your lodge have been elected and installed for the ensuing year. I am pleased and honored to have been elected as your Worshipful Master and I will do my best to lead the lodge in its endeavors in freemasonry.

The past year again saw a loss of membership due to non-payment of dues. The problem was addressed at Grand Lodge this past September prompting Most Worshipful Grand Master Stanley M. Thompson to issue an order to all lodges to make contact with all members who have been suspended in the past ten years and make an effort to get them reinstated as dues paying members. It was also ordered that if the suspended member paid the dues for the year he was suspended and the current year, the years in between would be healed and the brother would loose no time in membership.

We also need new members, so ask a friend, neighbor, coworker, or acquaintace to become a mason. Think back and remember why you became a mason, then give the opportunity to someone else. Need a petition? Contact our secretary David Powell, I know he has plenty of them. If every member turned in just one petition, we could turn around this decline in membership and make this year a great one. We need to keep our ritual alive and pass it along to new brothers.

I understand that we all lead busy lives and our families do come first, so in closing I challenge each and every one of you to find time to attend lodge. No matter how long it has been, come back, you are welcome, renew some old friendships.

As the holiday season approaches let me wish you and your family a happy holiday and a prosperous new year.
Fraternally,
John E Witte III
Worshipful Master

Please check the "Upcoming Events" page for futher activities in and about the lodge.

Thanks to all the brothers who helped in our annual poinsettia delivery to the widows of the lodge. We have received cards of thanks and the lodge extends the same to all volunteering brothers.
