Events and Activities

Missouri Child Identification Program (MOCHIP)

On February 24, 2007 (10am to 3pm), there will be a MOCHIP Event to be held at Beacon Masonic Hall.  This will be a joint community project involving Masters Lodge, Beacon Lodge, Wellston Lodge, Naphtali Lodge, and Meridian Lodge.  This will be a great day of fellowship and a valuable way of serving the community.  All members of the Masonic Family and non-Masons are invited to come and help out.  For more information, call Wor. Bro. Craig Skinner (314) 839-3081 or email cskinner@swbell.net.  You can find information about the Missouri Child Identification Program (MOCHIP) by clicking on the link at the left.

There will be a meeting of the lodge reps at 6:30PM on February 5, 2007 just prior to School of Instruction to update on the coordinating progress of the MOCHIP event.

  • On March 20, 2006, Worshipful Brother Ed Ryan (Masters Lodge #542) received his 50 year pin and certificate from Rite Worshipful Brother Jack Jackson (left) and Worshipful Brother Dave Fritchey (right).

  • May 18, 2006 - Wor Bro Herman McGill was honored for his 50-years of service to Freemasonry in an open meeting.  RWB Joe Johnson conducted the ceremony which was well attended by family, friends, and brethren.  See more photos of this event.

Chance to Advance Class

Webster Groves Lodge #84 will be hosting a Chance to Advance Class (C2A) at Webster Groves Masonic Temple on March 3, 2007.

Webster Groves Masonic Temple
12 E. Lockwood Ave.
Webster Groves, MO 63119

Sign in should be around 6:30 or 7:00 AM.

Ritual practice will be held on the night of the second meeting of the month.  Dress for these nights are casual.

Creating A Partnership Program

The Creating A Partnership Program sponsored by the Masonic Home of Missouri is a great way to serve our schools.  The Creating A Partnership Program purchases winter coats, hats, gloves, etc for children in our community schools.  If you are aware of any schools with children who need any of the above items, contact WB Dave Fritchey.  The Masonic Home encourages lodges and schools to take advantage of this program.

Have you paid your 2007 dues?  Endowed members should have received a permanent dues card from the Grand Lodge.  If you are not an endowed member, your dues should be submitted by December 31, 2006.  If you are an endowed member and have not received a permanent dues card, contact our Secretary so he can check into it for you.  As a reminder, endowed membership only covers your dues and not the voluntary contributions that are collected with your dues (i.e. Penny-a-Day, Masonic Youth, etc).  If you wish to contribute to the voluntary charities, please submit a check to the Secretary with the charity(ies) you wish to contribute to.

Dues remain the same as they were in 2006.  At the 185th Grand Lodge Communication, a legislation for a $2 per member, per lodge assessment was passed with these funds going into the Missouri Child Identification Program (MOCHIP).  Masters Lodge is going to absorb this increase for its members instead of raising dues.
